Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data we collect when you use Ticketscore, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. We've tried to keep it short and plain.

1. Who is the data controller?

Ticketscore, the operator of fwc26resale.com. For data-protection enquiries, email privacy@fwc26resale.com.

2. What we collect

Buyer data

• Name — to address you on receipts and order communications.
• Email (your tournament-app email) — used both to contact you about the order and shared with the seller as the destination for the ticket transfer.
• Phone number (optional) — only used if we need to contact you urgently about delivery.
• Order details — match, listing, quantity, price, status timestamps.

Seller data

• Account details — name, email, encrypted password.
• Payout details — held by Stripe, not by us.
• Listing data — section, row, price, source.

Payment data

Card numbers are processed and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store full card details.

Technical data

• IP address, browser, device type, pages visited — for security, fraud prevention, and basic analytics.
• Cookies for session state (login, CSRF protection). We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.

3. How we use it

• To process your order and complete the ticket transfer.
• To send you receipts, transfer notifications, and order updates.
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.
• To improve the Service (anonymous, aggregated analytics).

4. Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary data with:

• The seller of your order — your name and tournament-app email (so they can transfer the ticket).
• Stripe — for payment processing.
• Our infrastructure providers (hosting, email) — bound by data-processing agreements.
• Law-enforcement authorities — only when legally required.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

5. How long we keep it

• Order data: 7 years (tax/accounting requirement).
• Marketing data: until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs: typically 30–90 days.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (EU, UK, California, etc.), you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten") — subject to retention obligations above.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. International transfers

Some of our infrastructure providers (notably Stripe, our hosting provider) may process data outside your country of residence. Where required, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

8. Cookies

Ticketscore uses a small number of cookies and similar storage. We don't currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and don't require consent under GDPR/PECR. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings, or click "Manage cookies" in the footer to reset our banner state.

If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.

9. Security

The Service runs over HTTPS with 256-bit SSL. Passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt). Card data never touches our servers. We perform regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we take it seriously.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. Material changes will be communicated by email or via the Service. The "last updated" date above tracks the most recent change.
